Celtic, Rangers both heading to Dundee for Scottish Cup QFs

Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers will both be heading to Tayside in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup.

After cruising to a 4-0 win over Championship outfit Raith Rovers in the fifth round, Ange Postecoglou's men will now prepare for a last-eight clash at Tannadice Park against Dundee United, who won 1-0 at Partick Thistle in the previous round.

Meanwhile, Premiership champions Rangers, who breezed past League Two side Annan Athletic with a 3-0 win last weekend, will make the trip to Dens Park for a quarter-final clash with Dundee, who beat Peterhead by the same scoreline on Monday night.

Hearts and Hibernian have avoided an Edinburgh derby clash, with the former hosting St Mirren and the latter, last season's beaten finalists, drawn away against Motherwell.

All four ties, which include eight top-flight clubs, are scheduled to take place on the weekend of March 12.
