Eddie Howe has reportedly held talks with Crystal Palace over replacing Roy Hodgson after backtracking on an agreement made with Celtic.
The 43-year-old has been out of work since leaving Bournemouth last August following the Cherries' relegation to the Championship.
Celtic are believed to have made Howe their top choice to succeed Neil Lennon, who stepped down in February, but the Englishman has a number of other offers.
According to Football Insider, Celtic reached a verbal agreement with Howe during discussions in London earlier this week.
However, the same report indicates that Palace have also made their interest known as they look to bring an end to Hodgson's four-year spell at the club.
Sean Dyche, who is currently in charge of Burnley, is another rumoured contender to take over at Selhurst Park.
