Guidetti charged by SFA

Celtic striker John Guidetti has been charged by the Scottish Football Association for allegedly singing an offensive song about Rangers.

The 22-year-old is understood to have sung the chant while giving an interview to Dutch television show FC Rijnmond.

Guidetti has until 3pm on March 30 to respond to the charge. An initial hearing is due to take place on April 9.

The youngster is currently on a season-long loan at Celtic from Premier League champions Manchester City.

Swedish international Guidetti has scored 14 goals in 30 games for the Hoops this season.
