Shay Given admits that Barcelona's late winner against Celtic was a blow for the club.

Aston Villa goalkeeper Shay Given has admitted that Barcelona's last-gasp win against his former side Celtic was "a kick in the teeth" for everyone involved with the club.

Given, who spent his youth career at Celtic before moving to Blackburn Rovers, was also quick to praise the performance of Fraser Forster against the Catalan giants.

In a tweet, Given said: "That was a kick in the teeth for everyone connected with Celtic - gutted for them all. Fraser Forster was on fire as well. Great saves."

Celtic remain second in Group G, a point ahead of Spartak Moscow.
