Report: Cardiff City close to Etienne Capoue capture

Cardiff City are reportedly close to signing Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue for just under £10m.

According to The Sun, a transfer figure of £9.6m has been agreed between the two clubs, with the 25-year-old expected in Wales next week to complete a medical.

Boss Malky Mackay recently told reporters at a press conference: "It's pretty delicate but we are in negotiations."

It is now believed that the final details have been ironed out for the French international, who has been capped five times by his country.
