Team News: Andy Carroll on West Ham United bench

West Ham United have named Andy Carroll on the bench for this afternoon's Premier League meeting with Cardiff City.

The forward has not played this season because of a foot injury, but could make his comeback at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has handed Mark Hudson his first Premier League start for the club.

Gary Medel, Craig Noone and Kevin Theophile-Catherine all return to the starting XI, while new signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Craig Bellamy are on the bench.
