Ole Gunnar Solskjaer unhappy with Craig Bellamy ban

Solskjaer unhappy with Bellamy ban

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hit out at the Football Association's decision to ban Craig Bellamy for three matches.

The veteran forward accepted a charge for violent conduct on Tuesday after appearing to strike Jonathan de Guzman during Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Swansea City in the Premier League.

"I think that Craig's reputation has gone before him. When you see him in training, even in games, he is a top professional," Solskjaer is quoted as saying by Goal.com.

"It is a little collision, there is no violence in it, but we have just got to accept it, we don't want it dragging on."

Bellamy will return to action for Cardiff on March 2 when they make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League.
