Report: Trollope to take up Wales role

Cardiff City coach Paul Trollope could be taking up a role as assistant manager with the Wales national side.

Chris Coleman is losing current number two Kit Symons, as the Fulham manager has quit his post to concentrate on his position with the Cottagers.

According to BBC Sport, the Football Association of Wales have approached the former Wales international, but are yet to agree a deal with Cardiff.

Trollope, who joined the Bluebirds in February, would combine his duties with the national side with his current club job.
