Half-Time Report: Cardiff City, Swansea City goalless at the interval

Michu wasted a great chance to give the visitors an early lead when he fired over a volley when well placed inside the box.

The striker had another chance moments later when he tested David Marshall from distance, but his effort was hit straight at the keeper.

Craig Bellamy then went close for the hosts with a free kick that took a deflection and narrowly missed the top corner with the keeper left wrong-footed.

Peter Odemwingie had the final attempt of the half for the hosts, but he put his effort wide as it ended level going into the break.
