Hartlepool United came from two goals down to rescue a point at home to 10-man Newport County on Saturday afternoon.

Promotion chasers Burton Albion suffered a setback after a Reuben Reid equaliser saved Plymouth Argyle a point at the Pirelli Stadium.

Danny Rose and Nicky Adams scored in the first half to help Bury climb to third in the table, condemning Cambridge United to 14th with a 2-0 win.

York City secured a much-needed away win at Cheltenham Town as Diego de Girolamo grabbed a first-half winner, which was the only goal of the game.

Ten-man Shrewsbury scored a last-minute penalty to snatch all three points away from Dagenham & Redbridge.

Luton Town dropped off the top of the table as they conceded their 1-0 lead to Exeter City and were forced to settle for a draw. Wycombe Wanderers leapfrog Luton into first after coming from behind to beat Oxford United 2-1.

Ollie Palmer staged a late comeback for Mansfield Town but it was not enough as goals from David Worrall and Ryan Leonard sealed the points for Southend United.

Northampton Town secured a 2-0 home win over AFC Wimbledon with a second with the last kick of the game, while Tranmere Rovers also scored at the death to rescue a point in their 2-2 draw with Stevenage.

A convincing display from Portsmouth saw Danny Hollands, Miles Storey and Craig Westcarr all get their names on the scoresheet as they comfortably beat Carlisle United 3-0.
