Burnley reject Derby County's Jason Shackell bid?

Burnley have reportedly turned down a £2m bid from Derby County for defender Jason Shackell.

The Rams, who sold the 31-year-old to the Clarets in 2012, are understood to have made the offer over the weekend.

The Burnley Express reports that the recently-relegated side have rejected the bid, but Derby are already preparing to up their offer.

Shackell has just one season remaining on his contract at Turf Moor.
