Sports Mole looks ahead to this weekend's encounter between Burnley and Birmingham City in the Championship.

Burnley can secure a third consecutive victory if they manage to upset Birmingham City on their travels this weekend.

The Clarets can edge nearer to the playoff places in the Championship table with a win at Turf Moor, while the Blues could move eight points clear from the relegation zone with maximum points.

Birmingham, who have had a stuttered start to the second half of the season, have not managed to claim a win in their last six matches in the league.

For Saturday's encounter, Burnley are likely to line up with a five-man midfield, which could include Chris McCann and Dean Marney, while Birmingham could bring in Nikola Zigic in place of Wade Elliott.
