Manager Sean Dyche admits that Burnley would consider selling Charlie Austin if a big-money offer were made for the in-form striker.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has admitted that the club may struggle to keep striker Charlie Austin at Turf Moor should they be made an offer they can't refuse.

Austin has scored 18 goals in 15 games for the Championship club this season and with Premier League clubs expected to circle for the in-form striker in January, Dyche has admitted that the club are 'realistic' about the 23-year-old's future.

Dyche told BBC Radio Lancashire: "Things like that are out of our control for starters.

"We've had it many times with many different players. Last year, we sold Marvin Sordell at Watford.

"This club's got a different financial platform, a different financial thinking, but it's still got reality."

The 41-year-old boss will see his new side face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
