Report: Brighton & Hove Albion target Tim Sherwood to replace Sami Hyypia

A report suggests that Brighton & Hove Albion are lining up Tim Sherwood to become their new manager following the resignation of Sami Hyypia.

Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly targeting Tim Sherwood to replace Sami Hyypia as their new manager.

Hyypia resigned from his position with the Seagulls following a run of just one win in 18 matches, which has left the club in the relegation zone of the Championship.

Sherwood has been out of management since he left Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last season, but the Brighton hierarchy are keen to end his time out of the game by offering him the job, reports The Mirror.

The 45-year-old recorded 14 wins in his 28 games as manager of Spurs in the last campaign.
