Brentford have signed attacker Dango Ouattara from Bournemouth in a club-record transfer.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Ouattara had informed Bournemouth that he wanted to explore his options amid interest from Brentford.
The Cherries were reluctant to allow the 23-year-old to leave this summer, but they ultimately decided to consider offers after they learned of the player's desire to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.
As per Sky Sports News, the Bees have now signed Ouattara from Bournemouth after the two clubs agreed a £42m, including add-ons.

How long is Ouattara's Brentford contract?
As a result, Brentford have made Ouattara their new record transfer after they surpassed the £30m that they paid Club Brugge to sign Igor Thiago last summer.
The Burkina Faso international has signed a five-year deal to keep him at the Gtech Community Stadium until the summer of 2030.
Ouattara will offer Brentford great versatility in the final third, having proven that he can play on either flank and as a centre-forward when required.
The forward will strengthen Brentford's attacking options, although his arrival could pave the way for Yoane Wissa to complete his proposed move to Newcastle United.

Andrews admits Ouattara "surprise"
Brentford head coach Keith Andrews expressed his delight at Ouattara's arrival, admitting that he was shocked that a deal was possible.
“We’re really happy to get Dango in," Andrews told the club's official website "He’s someone that we were aware and surprised could be available, and once we knew that signing him might be a possibility, we really focused on trying to get him in.
“We liked his Premier League experience, even at his young age, and he just hasn’t found the rhythm yet because of a lack of consistent game time.
“He also suits the way we want to play - he has something that we were lacking in the forward line, and he will complement what we already have in the building. The fans will love him; he’s the type of player that they will get off their seat for.”
Ouattara will be looking forward to his next steps in West London after registering 11 goals and nine assists in 88 competitive appearances in his two-and-a-half-year spell as a Bournemouth player.
