Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Brentford could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Liverpool at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Brentford left-back Rico Henry will be in contention to make his first Premier League start in 16 months when Liverpool visit the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old played his first top-flight game since September 2023 on Tuesday, coming on for the final three minutes as Brentford astonishingly came back from 2-0 down to hold Manchester City to a 2-2 draw.

Prior to that brief cameo, Henry started and completed 63 minutes of Brentford's FA Cup loss to Plymouth Argyle, and there is nothing fitness-wise to suggest that he will not be a contender to start this weekend.

However, Frank may stick with Keane Lewis-Potter given that the 23-year-old has much more game time under his belt this season, potentially making him a more difficult test for Mohamed Salah.

Lewis-Potter is set to join Nathan Collins, Mads Roerslev, Mark Flekken and ex-Liverpool man Sepp van den Berg in an untouched backline, although Ben Mee is another option after recovering from injury.

Captain Christian Norgaard anchors the midfield after a heroic injury-time equaliser against Man City, and the Dane should be joined by Vitaly Janelt and Mathias Jensen as Mikkel Damsgaard starts on the left-wing.

Before Norgaard's last-gasp header, Yoane Wissa's strike took him onto 37 Premier League goals for Brentford, overtaking Ivan Toney as the Bees' all-time leading scorer in the division; he joins Damsgaard and Bryan Mbeumo up top again.

Josh Dasilva (knee), Ethan Pinnock (thigh), Kristoffer Ajer (ankle), Aaron Hickey (thigh), Igor Thiago (knee), Gustavo Nunes (back) and Ryan Trevitt (Achilles) will play no part in this one.

Brentford possible starting lineup:
Flekken; Roerslev, Van den Berg, Collins, Lewis-Potter; Norgaard, Janelt, Jensen; Mbeumo, Wissa, Damsgaard
