Brentford have confirmed that they will reuse the same home shirt next season in a bid to become more sustainable and affordable.

Brentford have announced that they will reuse their current home shirt once again in the 2022-23 season.

Typically in football, teams only use their home strip for one season and then bring out something new for the following campaign, but the Premier League club are set to buck that trend.

In a bid to become more sustainable and affordable for the fans, the Bees have announced that they will use the same shirt again next year, opting to make no changes to the kit.

Jon Varney said on the club website: "Respectful, Progressive and Togetherness are our three core values at Brentford FC, as many of our fans know.

"We also believe in football being affordable for our fans and are aware of the need for the game to become more focussed on sustainability. As such, when we discussed the idea, everyone at the club was fully behind it."

However, for those fans who will be wanting to see something new next season, Brentford have confirmed that they will have a fresh away and third kit available.
