Luiz Felipe Scolari hoping to meet Argentina in World Cup final

Scolari targets final with Argentina

Brazil manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has admitted that he is hoping to meet Argentina in the World Cup final.

The South American teams are among the favourites to lift the trophy on July 13, and Scolari believes that a meeting between the two would be an exciting game for the neutrals.

"I don't have to worry about Argentina," he told reporters. "I hope we can make it a Brazil-Argentina final, a South American final, with players that have great technical ability.

"I don't want Argentina to drop out beforehand. I want them to play their best football. If they lose, it's not my problem. My problem is Brazil. I have to take Brazil to the final, taking on whoever stands in our way."

Brazil will be looking to win the tournament for a sixth time this summer.
