Phil Parkinson is targeting "a few more" signings for Bradford City before the season starts.

Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson has said that he hopes to make several more signings for the Valley Parade club.

Parkinson has made eight signings so far for his first team squad, but has insisted that his squad is still not strong enough.

"I still feel we need to make a few more signings to strengthen the squad because it's not quite strong enough yet," Parkinson told the club's official website.

"The season is getting ever closer now. The lads will keep working hard to improve and get themselves ready and my job in the background will be to bring in a couple more bodies in during the next week or so."

Bradford finished a disappointing 18th in League Two last season.
