Goalkeeper Ryan Allsop has set his sights on earning a new deal with Bournemouth after returning to the Championship leaders from his loan at Coventry City.
The 22-year-old started last season, Bournemouth's first back in the second tier, as first-choice, but has since dropped behind Artur Boruc and Lee Camp in the pecking order.
He started 24 games for Coventry in League One on a half-season loan earlier this season and now wants to re-establish himself at Dean Court.
"First and foremost I want to earn a new deal and see where I go from there," Allsop told BBC Radio Solent.
"I want to push the first-team keepers here to hopefully get up the pecking order and do as well as I can."
Former West Bromwich Albion man Allsop joined Bournemouth from Leyton Orient a little over two years ago.
