Monchengladbach sign Raffael

Borussia Monchengladbach have reached an agreement with Dynamo Kiev for Brazilian forward Raffael.

The 28-year-old, who scored two goals during a loan spell at Schalke 04 last season, is now poised to sign a four-year deal with the Foals.

"We are getting another versatile and technically strong player for our attack," Sky Sports News quotes Gladbach director of sport Max Eberl.

"This transfer was not easy to complete which makes us all the more delighted that it has now come off."

Raffael, who arrives at Borussia-Park for an undisclosed fee, also played for Hertha Berlin between 2008 and 2012 before departing for Ukraine.
