Marco Reus: 'Borussia Dortmund will challenge again'

Marco Reus believes that Borussia Dortmund will challenge for the Bundesliga title again in the future.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus has expressed his belief that the team will challenge for the Bundesliga title again.

The Germany international committed his future to the club earlier this month by signing a contract until 2019, following alleged interest from Bayern Munich.

Dortmund have been struggling at the wrong end of the table this season, but following three wins on the bounce, Reus is confident that the eight-time German champions can return to competing with Bayern for the title in the future.

"That remains a major goal for me. I want to experience once more what happened in the city then," he told Kicker.

"I will give everything for that, and I have a strong feeling that it can happen one day."

Dortmund last lifted the Bundesliga title in 2012.
