Jurgen Klopp open to managing in the Premier League

The agent of former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp says that he could one day manage in the Premier League.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp would potentially be interested in a move to the Premier League when he returns to management.

The 47-year-old is on a hiatus following a seven-year spell with the Bundesliga giants, but his agent Marc Kosicke has hinted that he could join an English club in the future.

"The Premier League is very exciting, and we do not only think about the top four because there are some other great clubs below them," he told SPOX.

However, Kosicke is unsure whether the structure of English football clubs would be a good fit for Klopp's management style.

"I am not sure the profile of the job could work," he added. "In Germany there is a clear separation between manager and sporting director and I think in principle this is very good.

"Jurgen does not like to speak to players' agents or to carry out a transfer. So we have to see which is the most useful arrangement."

Klopp won two Bundesliga titles and lifted the German Cup, as well as reaching the Champions League final, during his time in charge of Dortmund.
