Sebastian Kehl: Bayern Munich 'deserving' Bundesliga champions

Borussia Dortmund captain Sebastian Kehl has admitted that Bayern Munich "deserved" to win the Bundesliga title this season.

The Bavarian giants wrapped up their 23rd German league title on Saturday with a 1-0 away win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

"It was to be expected that Bayern would win the league soon, so it wasn't much of a surprise to see it happen this weekend," the midfielder told Bundesliga.com. "You have to admit that they've been playing very consistently this season.

"They've been playing really well and convincingly and therefore deserve to be German champions, even at this very early stage. I believe they deserve it as much as we did in the previous two years."

Dortmund won the Bundesliga in 2011 and 2012.
