Sean Davis joins Bristol City

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Sean Davis has joined Bristol City on a one-month loan deal.

Davis, 32, has not played for the Trotters since August 2009 after a host of injury problems and has admitted that Bolton boss Owen Coyle has told him he needs to play competitive games.

"The fitness is good. I had a word with the manager and he told me to go out on loan for a month to play football," Davis told The Bolton News.

Davis joined Bolton in 2009.
