Bolton Wanderers give Chilean youngster trial

Bolton Wanderers have given a trial to Chilean youngster Stefano Magnasco.

The 18-year-old right-back arrives in England on Monday from Universidad Catolica, where he recently signed professional terms.

"I have to seize this chance, and if I am not ready they will tell me," Magnasco told Chilean radio station Bio Bio. "It never hurts to take advantage of this situation.

"Everything is done with the club, I signed a contract with the club to keep everybody happy, and everybody is happy. The idea was to get on well with them and then hopefully everything will work out."

Thirteenth-placed Wanderers next host Norwich City on Saturday.
