Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has said that he hopes his sides' 5-0 demolition of Stoke City can kickstart their season.
The win at the Reebok Stadium has kept the Trotters in the relegation zone, but they are now only one point from safety.
"I think the most important thing was to win the game, but how we won it and the level of performance was so pleasing for everyone," Coyle told Sky Sports News.
"Every one of them to a man showed a level of performance today that could be a catalyst for us moving forward.
"We know we had a slow start but we also know we have good players and a very good team."
Bolton travel to West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League after the international break.
