Bogdan vows to learn from freak goal

Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan has vowed that he will learn from the freak goal scored against him by Everton stopper Tim Howard.

American international Howard remarkably scored from inside his own penalty area in Everton's 2-1 loss to Bolton on Wednesday evening, but Bogdan has admitted that he was pleased with his overall performance.

"I thought I did well. Obviously I have to talk about their goal because everybody else is talking about it as it's not a goal you see every day," Bogdan told Bolton's official website.

"I'm going to learn from it, and I suppose it's easier to speak about it all now because we won and got the three points.

"I'm 24 and I'm going to take the knowledge from this game into the rest of my career."

Bogdan, 24, should start in the FA Cup tie with Macclesfield Town on Saturday afternoon.
