Boca Juniors suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss against Argentinos Juniors in Thursday's encounter at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Sebastian Battaglia's found themselves with a mountain to climb having conceded at the interval after conceding first-half goals to Gabriel Carabajal and Gaston Veron.
The Blue and Gold have slipped down to 15th place in the standings and are currently seven points off top spot after just nine rounds of matches.

Consequently, Los Pincharratas have risen to 17th place in the league table and now sit just three points shy of a place in the top 10.
Winless in their five matches away from home, Monday's visitors have significant work to do on their travels if they are to compete with the teams in the higher echelons of the standings this year.
