Newcastle United plot January bid for Thomas Ince?

Newcastle United are reportedly planning to make a move for Blackpool midfielder Thomas Ince in January.

The 20-year-old, who broke into the first team at Bloomfield Road last season, has scored four goals in four Championship appearances this term.

According to The Mirror, the Magpies had a £4m bid for Ince rejected during the summer and they intend to return with a fresh offer in the new year.

Ince's current contract expires in June 2013.
