Blackpool secure Foley loan

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett believes that Kevin Foley's loan move to Blackpool suits both the player and the club.

Foley has only featured on seven occasions for the League One side during the current campaign, but Jackett has insisted that the Republic of Ireland international has been unlucky to find himself sidelined for much of the season.

The 52-year-old told the club's official website: "Kevin hasn't done anything wrong to be honest. It is just that players are ahead of him.

"This is a good move for him and a fresh start to get out playing, which suits both him and Blackpool."

The former Luton Town player is likely to feature when Blackpool face Watford at the weekend.
