Blackpool complete double signing

Blackpool have confirmed the signings of Andre Blackman and Formose Mendy on free transfers.

Blackman, who plays as a winger, has penned a deal until the end of the season with the option of a further 12 months.

The 23-year-old has recently been on trial at Bloomfield Road following a brief spell with Maidenhead United.

Guinea-Bissau midfielder Mendy has joined Blackpool on an identical deal to Blackman after leaving Sporting Gijon over the summer.

Both transfers are subject to Football League clearance, while Mendy's is subject to international clearance.
