Sunderland join Junior Hoilett hunt

Sunderland are reportedly the latest club to have joined the race to sign Blackburn Rovers winger Junior Hoilett.

The 21-year-old has impressed during a difficult season for Rovers near the bottom of the Premier League table.

However, the Black Cats are up against Champions League finalists Bayern Munich and Marseille to land the Canadian's signature, according to the Daily Mail.

Hoilett is expected to be among a number of players to leave Ewood Park if Blackburn are relegated next month.
