Steve Kean rules out Garra Dembele move

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean has confirmed that the club will not be offering a contract to Freiburg striker Garra Dembele.

The 26-year-old joined Rovers on trial last week, however, Kean has ruled out a move for the Malian.

"We had Garra in for a few days. He had a couple of days training with us but that will not go any further," Kean told reporters.

"We know we have still got to strengthen a little bit and we are working very hard to do that. We are confident we will get a few more bodies in."

Dembele is available on a free transfer.
