Garra Dembele joins Blackburn Rovers on trial

Freiburg have confirmed that striker Garra Dembele will be joining Blackburn Rovers for a trial.

The 26-year-old Mali international has failed to make an impact with the Bundesliga club following his move from Levski Sofia last summer.

The forward, who was linked with a move to Rovers in January, will now meet up with Steve Kean's side with the view to a switch.

Dembele has three years left on his current Freiburg contract.
