David Dunn could reportedly sign a new one-year contract at Blackburn Rovers by the end of the week.

Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn is reportedly expected to sign a new contract at the Championship club.

There had been rumours that the 33-year-old could be on his way out of Ewood Park following reported interest from clubs overseas.

Despite initial doubts over his future, it is understood that Dunn could sign a one-year deal by the end of this week, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.

Dunn has been a Blackburn player since 2007 when he signed from Birmingham City.
