Preview: Blackburn Rovers vs. Burnley

Sports Mole previews this Sunday's East Lancashire derby between Blackburn Rovers and Burnley at Ewood Park.

The East Lancashire derby is finely poised for Sunday, as four points separate Blackburn Rovers and Burnley in the Championship table.

The fiery encounter comes on the back of the failure to clinch one win in five outings in all competitions for Blackburn, who are six points adrift of the relegation zone.

Rovers, who have had three different managers since getting dumped out of the Premier League last summer, were held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture against Burnley in December.

The visitors have only managed to grab one victory in their last five games, but secured a 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic in their last away fixture.

Blackburn boss Michael Appleton is expected to field Jordan Rhodes and Dudley Campbell up front, while Burnley could place Alex Kacaniklic, David Edgar and Chris McCann just behind the forward three.

Blackburn: LDLLL

Sports Mole says: 1-2
