Assistant Jensen leaves Blackburn Rovers

John Jensen has left his post as Blackburn Rovers' assistant mananger.

The 46-year-old Dane, who made 97 appearances for Arsenal in a four-year spell between 1992 and 1996, joined up with Steve Kean in January.

A statement on the club's website said: "The club would like to thank John for his efforts over the past nine months and offer him best wishes for the future."

Jensen made 69 international appearances for Denmark, scoring four goals.
