Agent refuses to rule out Blackburn for Solskjaer

Former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's agent Jim Solbakken has refused to rule out the possibility of his client replacing Steve Kean at Ewood Park.

Mark Hughes and former Cardiff City boss Dave Jones have also been linked, despite the club's owners saying that they are standing by their current manager amid fan protests.

Solskjaer is currently managing Norwegian club Molde after a stint in charge of the Manchester United reserves, and has led them to the top of the Tippeligaen.

"Blackburn Rovers have a manager," Solbakken said, according to The Mirror. "And Ole is doing very well in Norway."

Bottom-of-the-league Blackburn, who have picked up one point from four games, welcome 12th-placed Arsenal to Ewood Park this weekend.
