Half-Time Report: Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers goalless at the break

Neither Blackburn Rovers nor Bolton Wanderers were able to make the breakthrough in the first half at Ewood Park this evening.

Adam le Fondre fired in an ambitious effort from range for the visitors on 11 minutes, but the striker's attempt was comfortably gathered by goalkeeper Jason Steele.

Matthew Kilgallon went close for Blackburn shortly after when his overhead kick went just wide, and the home side were forced into a change after the half-hour mark when Corry Evans limped off for Lee Williamson.

Le Fondre linked up nicely with his strike partner Emile Heskey on 33 minutes, but the former once again failed to trouble the keeper from range.

Craig Conway almost broke the deadlock in stoppage time but his low effort flashed wide of the post.
