Gary Rowett confirms Jonathan Spector Achilles problem

Birmingham City defender Jonathan Spector could be out for up to two weeks with an Achilles injury.

Birmingham City defender Jonathan Spector has suffered an Achilles injury and could be out for around two weeks.

The American came off during the 2-0 defeat at Cardiff City on Saturday, but might be able to feature in next week's game against Rotherham United on Good Friday.

"Hopefully it won't be too bad and the international break could be fairly good timing for him," Blues boss Gary Rowett told the club website.

"We haven't ruled him out of the Rotherham game at this stage."

However, with Michael Morrison fit again, Spector might not be risked for the Millers' visit.
