Real Betis confirm Joaquin return

Real Betis resign Joaquin from Fiorentina nine years after selling the 34-year-old.

Real Betis have confirmed that they have re-signed Joaquin from Fiorentina.

The winger last played for Betis between 2000 and 2006 after graduating from the club's youth academy.

The former Spain international has signed a three-year deal at the Seville-based outfit, and could appear in Betis's La Liga match against Real Sociedad on Sunday.

The 34-year-old has played 51 times for Spain, and appeared at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups and 2004 European Championships.
