Ribery wants Bayern retirement

Franck Ribery has revealed that he wants to carry on at Bayern Munich for the remainder of his career.

The 30-year-old also claims that the 2012-13 Bundesliga season, in which he scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists in 27 appearances, is his best campaign for the German club.

"You could say it's my best season," he told L'Equipe. "I'm happy. I'm content. I'm very happy here, my family too. Truly.

"Bayern is an extraordinary club, made up of magnificent people, who respect you for who you are. I really count on finishing my career here.

"I would like to leave here as a great man having left my mark. I imagine the last match at the Allianz Arena. I would like a moment that stays with you for life."

Bayern won the Bundesliga for the first time in three years and could also clinch the Champions League and the DFB-Pokal titles this season.
