Toni Kroos staying patient over contact talks

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed that he is yet to begin new contract talks with the Bundesliga champions.

The 23-year-old, who has started this season in impressive form, has just two years left to run on his current deal with Bayern.

"I am unable to make any significant statement at this point. Thus far we have not been having any negotiations with Bayern Munich," he told Bild.

"Fact is I am under contract but I am able to imagine doing a lot of things. The best [thing] to do actually is to be patient, since I am aware that German players have very much gone up in the estimation of foreign clubs."

Kroos is currently on international duty with Germany.
