Kroos dismisses Mourinho claims

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has dismissed Jose Mourinho for saying that Chelsea were the better team in the UEFA Super Cup.

After the match, which Bayern won 5-4 on penalties, Mourinho said that the best team "clearly lost".

"He exclusively has this opinion. I'm not sure if he's being serious," Goal.com quotes Kroos as saying. "Even with 11 players, Chelsea were far worse than us."

The Super Cup was Pep Guardiola's first trophy as Bayern coach.
