Mario Gomez: 'I want to get better'

Bayern Munich strker Mario Gomez vows to continue his form into 2012.

Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez has admitted that he is confident of adding to his impressive goal tally in 2012.

The German international struck 50 times for club and country in 2011, but remains quietly confident that he can continue his form into 2012.

"I will see. This is a high score; 50 goals in one year is very, very much. But I would like to get better every year," Gomez told Goal.com.

The 26-year-old, who joined Bayern from Stuttgart in 2009, has struck 16 times in the Bundesliga this season.
