Bayern Munich announce plans to play friendlies in United States

Bayern Munich have announced that a trip to the United States will take place during pre-season.

At the weekend, Bayern sealed a sixth successive Bundesliga title and the German side have not wasted time in revealing plans ahead of the next campaign.

The club will play two matches in the International Champions Cup, with dates and venues being confirmed later this month.

Bayern will be making their third appearance Stateside in five years, with their last participation including games against AC Milan, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are also among the clubs involved in this summer's competition.
