Preview: BATE Borisov vs. Bayern Munich

BATE Borisov vs. Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich will attempt to make it 10 wins from 10 matches this season when they travel to BATE Borisov in Group F on Tuesday.

BATE enter the match having not lost in their domestic league this season, and have won the last six Belarusian titles in their home nation.

Meanwhile, despite Bayern's vast success this season, they have lost three of their last four away games in Europe, winning just one of their last five on the road.

BATE began their Champions League campaign with an impressive 3-1 win over Lille on matchday one, while Bayern overcame Spanish outfit Valencia 2-1.

BATE are expected to recall former Barcelona winger Aleksandr Hleb to their starting side, while Renan Bressan has also shaken off a slight knock to be considered.

Bayern are expected to hand starts to Mario Mandzukic and Javi Martinez after the pair were left out of the weekend's win over Werder Bremen, but Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez definitely miss out.
