Howard Webb has been appointed the man to officiate Tuesday's Champions League semi-final between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
The 40-year-old, who is regarded as one of the best in Europe, has taken charge of four Champions League fixtures so far this season.
However, none of those encounters has featured either Bayern or their Spanish opposition.
Webb has previously officiated the European and World Cup finals.
