Robben delays new contract

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has delayed signing a new contract with the German club, according to club president Uli Hoeness.

Robben's contract is due to expire in 2013, and it was expected that the 28-year-old would commit his future to the Bundesliga outfit. However, Hoeness has casted doubt over the Dutchman's future.

"All I know is that he was just about to put pen to paper, and now that has all been postponed," he told reporters.

Bayern will contest the Champions League final with Chelsea on May 19.
